This brand fits true to size to a bit bigger. I would recommend sticking with your typical size. I plan to order a 1X for myself. There are no side pockets. I know that can be a deal breaker for some. I don't mind because it doesn't add extra bulk to my hips.
Fabric Content: 60% Polyester 40% Cotton- It feels almost like a wool. If you have texture issues I'd advise layering it over a long sleeve. I thought it was a bit scratchy.
