Oh my goodness! This top is just as cute as it looks. It is a babydoll style that doesn't flare as much as normal. This is great because it skims over extra curves without adding extra bulk. I was originally concerned about the ruffles on the shoulders. I am broader on top and didn't want to look like a linebacker. But they also lay nicely without getting too weird.
Fit advice: I am currently wearing an XL and the 1x fit rather well without much extra room, but I have a larger chest and this fabric doesn't have much stretch. I'd say it runs true to size. But if you typically straddle two sizes (ie 1X or 2X) I'd go with the larger size. Length wise it hit my 5'4" frame about mid hip. Probably not going to pair this one with leggings but it will look great with denim or dress pants.
